In this exclusive write up we would quickly work you through how a 1984 young Arnold Schwarzenegger was recreated in 3D and animated to act the role of the “TERMINATOR”.
Klaus Skovbo of MPC VFX in Soho shares more screencaps on how he created young arnold with Ashley Tilley and other artist in the agency that also created character design for movies like Godzilla, planet of the apes and lots more.
Klaus took advantage of Pixar RenderMan’s new RIS ray tracing
rendering tools, developing a shader that used multi-layer scattering to represent the epidermal and subdermal layers for the Schwarzenegger’s CGI Skin. Klaus is a modeler and 3D Artist with MPC VFX.
