[AGENCY] #NEWS: LAMPE OMOYELE RESIGNS FROM NIELSEN MEDIA.

Mr Lampe Omoyele has resigned from the services of Nielsen as its Managing Director.

Mr. Omoyele who served as the head of Nielsen’s commercial operations in West Africa, leading the team responsible for all client service, strategy and operational execution across all West African markets has over a 25-year career in commercial and general management roles with leading multi-national Companies like Cadbury, Airtel, PZCussons and GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare

As at the time of this report by journalists, his new appointment is unknown.

Omoyele has over the years established an enviable track record for delivering business results in challenging and internationally diverse markets enabled by strong leadership. He was the second Vice-President, Advertisers Association of Nigeria (ADVAN), 2011-2015 and was conferred with Chartered Marketer (CIM-UK) status in 2009.

He holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Biochemistry from the University of Lagos. He is a Fellow: National Institute of Marketing in Nigeria (NIMN); Member: Advertisers Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON), and an alumnus of the Lagos Business School. Lampe is an adjunct faculty member of the Orange Academy and Pan-Atlantic University where he teaches marketing strategy, and serves on the Board of Trustees of several charitable organisations.
