[BRAND FAIL] #SAD: SAMSUNG WASHING MACHINES TOO NOW EXPLODE!

Samsung’s bad month gets worse as the South Korean electronics giant warns that some of its washing machines may halt and catch fire.

The tech giant says it is working with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) on a plan to fix top-loading washing machines prone to what Samsung terms “abnormal vibrations”, or as the rest of us call it, “exploding”.

Samsung says the affected units are all top-loading washers manufactured between March 2011 and April 2016.

“In rare cases, affected units may experience abnormal vibrations that could pose a risk of personal injury or property damage when washing bedding, bulky or water-resistant items,” Sammy says .

“Samsung is recommending that consumers with affected models use the lower speed delicate cycle when washing bedding, bulky or water-resistant materials. There have been no reported incidents when using this cycle.”

This after ABC News in America aired a special report talking to 22 peeps who claim their washing machines blew up mid-cycle, in some cases causing major damage to surrounding structures, as explosions tend to do.

“It sounded like a bomb went off in my ear,” said one.

“There were wires, nuts, the cover actually was laying on the floor.”

This isn’t the first time Samsung washers have been called out for their uncanny ability to forcibly redecorate homes. A massive recall of fire-prone machines in Australia has been going on for more than three years with a number of those machines still in use.

Samsung, meanwhile, is still trying to work out the replacements for the hand-burning Galaxy Note 7 phablet that’s at the heart of a massive recall worldwide and a flight ban over fears the fiery tablets could bring down aircraft.

Samsung has confirmed it will compensate all customers affected in this new development.
