The introduction of this service would mark the first in Africa and one of the numerous few that are available globally ( only 19 are available worldwide including the only one in Africa).
3Dmakery.com’s intention is the offering of a wider range of 3D printing services, its first viable minimum product – the 3D selfies or shapies are going to be unveiled at the Ikeja City Mall to a select group of media, entertainment and corporate individuals.
This activation which is billed to run through the weekend starting from today Friday, November 13 to Sunday, November 15 promises to offer to Nigeria a unique experience to be scanned and have their 3D selfies or portrait printed.
As part of the build to the event, a leading brand from the stable of Bacardi Nigeria – Martini is partnering 3D Makery in the unveiling event through the use of its brand ambassador Bryan Okwara.
Martini is offering 20 other notable names and faces in Nigeria the opportunity to be the first set of people to have a 3D selfie in Nigeria alongside Bryan, its ambassador.
The campaign which is currently on Instagram and Facebook has already seen six nominations from Bryan; Gbenro Ajibade, Toolz, Yomi Casual, Adunni Ade, Sound Sultan and Kate Henshaw. It is right now a game of who is next for Bryan and who will be nominated by those already nominated. While everyone is waiting with baited breath, social media is already buzzing with conversations of what the whole experience might be, and look like.
