WHAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE?
Customer service is a proactive system and a set of tailored attitude aimed at meeting the guests’ needs and exceed their expectations. The product and service  must promote “repeat  business” with the establishment.
Customer, guest, client as the name may imply, all have certain expectations in mind before patronizing a particular business establishment. For example, if you go to the bank,  you expect to see a clean, safe, and spacious banking hall, polite staff that are willing to attend to you without wasting your time, so also if you go to a fast food outlet, added to the previously listed expectations, you expect to have varieties of food, drinks to choose from with a good price.  The same goes for the expectations one expects from other products and service providers.

   Customer service is the heart of all successful businesses but unfortunately most businesses pay lip service to this part of brand marketing. Customers are treated as if they are been done favour whereas it is the customer that is doing the business a great favour. When customers are treated properly and the product or service they purchase meet their expectations there is the possibility that the customer will come back to your business is very high.
In a competitive market, it can   be tempting to chase new business. However, to enhance  revenue and profitability on your business, the best way is to focus on efficient customer service that target customer satisfaction, retention and build up customer loyalty.
