Earlier this year, red had been teasing what looked like a camera accessory online. But yesterday it openly declared its full frame 8120 × 4320 ProRes camera weeks after canon launched its 4k XC10 Compact Lens camera in time for the NABShow.com convention that started in Las vegas april 11th.
The camera comes in two options-a Carbon fibre body and magnesium PL mount body.

Red has given “trade in ” incentives for prior RED owners for the RED WEAPON at this year’s NAB SHOW.

Camera AG-DVX200, JVC LS300 4K, CANON C300 MK II 4K. AARI is presently developing an IMAX camera which may rival the ALEXA 65 both in design and versatility.
