Yesterday at the Union bank sports complex ground located on Eric Moore road off Adeniran Ogunsanya road surulere Lagos, Promasidor makers of cowbell milk and Onga food seasoning donated 40 hockey sticks and several hockey balls to 24 secondary schools participating in the ongoing IBILE games a grassroots sports development initiative created by the Lagos state Government few years ago to encourage secondary school pupils into sports and discover raw talents. Delivering a promising speech at the event, the head of legal and PR for Promasidor Mr Andrew Enahoro reaffirmed promasidor’s continued effort in supporting grassroot hockey in the following years. Promasidor partnered with BME CONCERN (also known as Ripples) an NGO based Wales England since 2013 to provide sustainable empowerments to minorities in Africa. Among the 24 secondary schools that benefited from Promasidor’s goodwill are Eric moore secondary school, St. Patricks secondary school epe, Methodist girls high school, kings college, united school ikorodu, army cantonment secondary school ikeja, police children school and Reagan memorial baptist girls secondary school.
